Zusammenfassung

Semantic technologies, established over the past decade, have been successfully adopted by scientific communities of the Life Sciences, Astronomy, and Humanities researchers, as well as modern governments, media industry and the Web. Extension of the success of semantic technologies to important high impact industry segments and markets, such as telecommunications and energy management, is crucial to enable active participation, interoperation, and generation of new value.<p> I address an unresolved problem of designing, developing and putting in operation intelligent enablers for converged media, mobile, sensor-empowered environments, and social, context-based and information Internet services. While a large number of important data, information, knowledge and services of industrial environments are locked behind the so-called ?walled gardens?, these enablers are meant to be open to and accepted by a vast range of third party contributors, ranging from commercial companies to private end-users. Basing on the enablers, the contributors will provide and refine added-value services within communication, collaboration and consumption processes. Thus, the main aim and a measurable success criterion of this work is enablement of more efficient adding value participation.
